Another Favorite Spot…

Bed.

That’s all there is to it.

I love being in bed. Andrew and I came home from church today and slept in bed for 2 hours. It was amazing. There is nothing like the feeling of your own sheets and blankets cuddled up around your neck and finding that perfect spot between the pillows.

For those of you who know me well this favorite spot does not come as a surprise. It is quite common to find me talking, dreaming, visualizing about my bed.

When I do not spend a solid 8 hours in bed, you also know the consequences. Happy Lyndsey is just not likely to show up the next morning. Sad, I know. Most of you moms are thinking, “just wait!” I know… I know. But for now, while freedom still lives, I will enjoy my favorite spot guilt-free.

Baptism

One thing that never gets old is watching God move in people’s lives. I will always be amazed by another life changed from darkness to freedom. This past Sunday, 31 people were baptized. It was our first baptism at the building, just another reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness. It’s even more impactful when you truly know some of these people. Where they’ve been and how far they’ve come in just a matter of 6 months or a year. If changed lives aren’t a testament to the realness and goodness of God, I don’t know what else can convince you.

I love my husband.

This is how he just now walked in the front door from work.

Don’t be concerned. The cow’s right arm is ok. I’ve been informed the cow is just difficult to put on by one’s self.
